2025 Fall
A Singular Milestone
By any standard, one million dollars is a significant amount of money and in December 2025, the Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation will reach this milestone during its annual granting ceremony. Over the past three years the Foundation has provided grants to dozens of local charities whose work focuses on vulnerable and at-risk youth. In 2024, the Foundation added student bursaries to its giving programs, with 55 schools each receiving a $1,000 to award to a student in support of post-secondary endeavours.

“It is both gratifying and humbling to know that the support we’re providing in partnership with local charities is having a real impact in our communities,” said Christiane Hodson, Executive Director of FVRCF. “None of our work would be possible without the generosity of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board or the passion and empathy of its community minded members.”
The Foundation’s 2025 granting ceremony is scheduled for December 8.
‘Fore’ the Cause
This year, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board teamed up with the Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation for its annual golf tournament to raise money for an important cause. More than 100 golfers hit the greens on September 11 at the Northview Golf and Country Club for a day of competition, camaraderie, and fun, and raised over $25,000 for at-risk youth.

“The Fraser Valley Board has always given selflessly to community causes,” said Board Chair, Tore Jacobsen. “Teaming up with our Charitable Foundation arm is a way to turbo-charge our efforts and help support future generations in the Fraser Valley region.”
Warming Hearts & Souls
Each fall, the real estate community comes out in force to support an annual tradition: the REALTORS® Care Blanket Drive. Now in its 31st year, the campaign has provided warmth to countless thousands of our less fortunate fellow citizens with blankets, sleeping bags, and winter clothing as they struggle to find shelter. This year’s Blanket Drive kicks off on Nov. 17—for more information contact Vanessa Cheng at vanessa.cheng@fvreb.bc.ca.
